Hello, my Warriors of Light!!
For the past two weeks while waiting for the Kickstarter funds to come through, I've been playing ping pong with my manufacturer on the designs, making edits and subtle revisions to ensure that all the enamel pins come out with fantastic results!! We're just about to enter the production phase for the molds themselves, so after one more round of edits and making sure the colors are all correct, we will be in official production mode!! GASP! It's all happening so fast! Also, here are so more fun and fascinating things that are happening.

Some of you have expressed to me that you would like to add more pins to your order as well as upgrade your pledge. Through KS, this has been a little hard to employ and keep track of everything, but I've found a solution!! I now have a BackerKit page set up for all of you to enjoy as well as new Add-Ons that you can include in your order!!

Don't forget to check your Junk Mail just in case the BackerKit Survey ends up in there. I'll be shutting down changes to orders at the end of November, so make sure to get in there and get your survey filled out so I know how much of each pin and sticker to order.
What's going on now?
Currently, I'm working on designing and investigating backing card options!! I would like your opinion, so if you would be so kind, please leave a response to this update with your answer!
What Direction should we take for the Designs of the Backing Cards?
Keep them Simple! One Design for each project. For Example: Same Design to be used in future projects, Scholars & Scions will share the same backing card with the future Heavensward project.
(What does this mean? One Design means we can just keep printing the one design for Backing Cards for this and any future projects)
Keep them Consistent! A shared feature between each project ties the backing cards together, but ultimately, you can tell Scholars & Scions KS Project apart from Heavensward project thanks to a different style.
(What does this mean? Multiple Designs means that we will have a Backing Card stretch goal for each project because it will mean more work. This may also mean that future enamel pins might not have backing cards if we cannot reach that fundraising goal.)

We've done it! Now, here are our next steps!
Thank you so much for making this project a reality! I am already feverishly getting to work on production, as you no doubt well know. I've sent out surveys to get an idea of how much we'll need to produce, but in doing so, I realized that the system makes it a bit tedious and hard for me to do all that I want to do. So, in light of this, I've set up with Backerkit! I'm currently waiting for the review to ensure I didn't make any hiccups during my page creation, but it should be just a few more days before it gets sent in earnest! That will mean that those of you who have filled out a survey on Kickstarter will have to do so again, but that is alright!! It means that your information will have a more reliable accountant than littl' ol' me squinting at Kickstarter and trying to make a spreadsheet.
OKAY! So this is how it's going to go down!
First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds so we have the money to make the rewards (this can take up to two weeks).
Second, I work with my manufacturer, go over details and begin producing tests! The designs have already been sent in, so now I am waiting for quotes and edits.
Third, Once each design has a green light and samples made, I'll gather the final count for what we need to order. At this time, I’ll send out a BackerKit survey to collect this information.
I’ll give you a heads-up here before I send the Backerkit survey so that you can keep a lookout for it!
Here's some quick tips about using Backerkit!
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey, which is nice.
The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey so you can go through (so don't delete it, just in case), choose your enamel pins (multiples of one design if you like!), and even add additional pins if you want more than what you pledged for.
Perhaps there will even be additional goodies. GASP.
If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after I send the surveys out.) But yes! This will be a whole lot easier for you and me to make adjustments as needed until everything is shipped out from my little gremlin hands to be received by your little gremlin hands.
Answering your survey help me get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit will help me save lots of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing us with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments. Which is a huge load off my little shoulders. This also means I begin working on more goodies for you all in the meanwhile!
If you used your Facebook credentials to log in to your crowdfunding account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact me.

WE'VE DONE IT!!
Ardbert is free!! We can now add him to the lineup of unlocked designs!! We have DONE IT!! ALL DESIGNS ARE UNLOCKED.
With our powers combined, we've smashed through every goal, we've unlocked every design!! We couldn't have done it without you all and I am SO GRATEFUL!!! I am only one very shy artist, but the fact that I've been able to reach out and gather over a hundred friends to my cause to help me bring this project to life is incredible!! THANK YOU ALL SO SO VERY MUCH!! I couldn't do this without you and I want to keep making merch like this. It's been a rough few years after the pandemic and I've had a hard time finding my feet again and finding joy in making fanart. Not being able to get out to meet you all in person at events has made me so very sad and uninspired, especially now that I'm finding that it's so much harder than ever to get into these venues. However, I figured, like this (even with me being as shy as I am online), I can reach out again, I can still share and engage and do amazing things with amazing people. Doing projects like these make me feel like I have penpals and friends all over the world and it makes me so very happy each time I send out the mail. So thank you, from the bottom of my heart! Thank you!! Thank you for supporting me and helping me continue with making fanmerch and fanart!!
Okay, now that the cheesy part is done with...
Now what's left is the last stretch goal, the distant and yet powerful goal of the immediate production of Heavensward pins!! + ^+ The goal is at 5k, but I think even with it being so far away, we can still make a pretty good attempt at it!! As I've said before, everything helps, every little bit, so thank you!!

We are in the final countdown, my fellow Warriors of Light!! QwQ
As we draw near the end of this Kickstarter campaign, I will be working hard to make the most of our final hours. We have accomplished so much, and I am so grateful for this opportunity to work with you all to make these enamel pins a reality!! I am already dreaming of the next Kickstarter and what goodies we can come together to make for Heavensward!! More sentences that end with exclamation points!!!
Also, at this time, please adjust your pledges to accommodate your final count for desired enamel pins now that we have unlocked nearly all the designs! We are only missing Meteor/Ardbert now, but I am feeling hopeful!! We're so close to $4k to unlock our companion Warrior of Light. I will be sending emails and reaching out to the FFXIV community to share word of the Kickstarter and hopefully reach that last stretch goal.

We have done it! We've unlocked backing cards!!!
I will work on the design in these final hours, but AAAA I'm so stoked. I honestly love putting together pins and packaging so it brings me immense joy to know that we've reached this goal.
Also: THE MOOGLES HAVE TAKEN ARDBERT HOSTAGE!!
They will release him from bondage once the 4k Goal has been reached. OR THEY WILL ENLIST HIM IN ENDLESS SERVICE TO ALL MOOGLES AND THEIR CEASELESS QUESTS AND CHORES. DON'T SUBJECT HIM TO THIS PURGATORY, THIS SISYPHEAN NIGHTMARE OF MOOGLE TASK MASTERS. FREE HIM.

Earlier, I had been fantasizing about having 100 backers and to my surprise, we are rapidly approaching that number!! We might actually do it!
