So in the last update, I mentioned getting pictures up and processed, but literally the next day, I went on a hike to get some air and I dropped my phone on the rocks and broke it;;;; So things have been delayed as I figured out a new phone, picked it up, got it up to speed, and had a photo session with the pins, but I SHOULD BE BACK ON TRACK NOW.

PINS HAVE ARRIVED! ORDERS ON THE VERGE OF BEING SENT OUT!
Hello all! It's wonderful to see you here in the New Year, and I'm happy to announce that during the holiday chaos, THE ENAMEL PINS HAVE ARRIVED! I've acquired some help to facilitate the process and move more quickly through compiling enamel pins and backing cards, so there's only a little more work to be done before we can begin putting the orders together in earnest! I suspect I'll have the orders put together and sent within one week from today!
Photos Incoming!!
Tomorrow, once the compiling of pins and such is complete, I'll be able to make enough space in my tiny tiny office to take some nice pictures of the pins for promotional use and for our own satisfaction. For now, there is so much packing material everywhere that it's a bit hard to set up my little mobile photo studio, but tomorrow it should be a lot easier to manage! I'll update with photos here the moment I'm done, and I'll share them on social media too for the ease of getting the word out!

I'm so excited to get these enamel pins out to you. They turned out SO WELL!!! And the companion stickers are adorable, so I am also really looking forward to sharing those with you all. Thank you all for your patience and for joining me on this adventure. I really love working these kinds of projects and your support is what makes it all possible, so thank you, thank you, for helping me bring this project to life!
What Will we Accomplish in 2025?
Through all this, I've been learning so much and I'm also so very eager to start working on the next set of enamel pins for Heavensward!! QWQ This year, I hope to make more of these kickstarter projects, so hopefully we'll be able to do this and so much more in the upcoming months. I am curious to see just how much we can get done together in this year, you and I. How many expansions worth of pins can we make in a year? We'll find out!! We will! WE'RE GUNNA MAKE IT HAPPEN YOU GUYS. WE'RE GUNNA GO HEAVENS WARD AND BEYOND.

Production Delay & Other News (As well as some ideas)

Production Delay & Other News
Given that it is the holidays, my manufacturer has had their production delayed due to the sheer amount of pins that we are making as well as access to certain enamel paints. I don't blame them, though! I'm sure that many other small businesses like myself are restocking for the new year, especially with the future being uncertain in regards to politics and tariffs, so all our manufacturers are buried under our mountains of panicked New Year orders. A big thank you to my manu for working so hard and for making sure that all our pins are topnotch quality!!
Have no fear, though!!
We are ready for when the enamel pins arrive. Backing cards have arrived, complete with FANCY GOLD FOIL, the vinyl stickers and sticker sheets have also arrived in their entire glory, and all my shipping supplies have come in, too! So the moment that these enamel pins hit the doorstep, I'll be rolling up my sleeves, putting on a scary movie marathon, and packing pins until all orders have been sent out.
I was really hoping that getting the order in as early as we did, we would have enough time for them to arrive before the holidays hit in earnest. I'm sorry for my optimistic roadmap!! I hope that it isn't too much of a bummer. With this being my first Kickstarter, there is plenty for me to learn from this experience so that I can apply it to the future Heavensward Kickstarter and this has taught me to grant an extra month or two for production delays! BUT I SUPPOSE I am also comforting myself with my own family tradition that gift-giving can extend from the end of the month, to when the Three Kings arrive (my mom told me when I was little that while presents can be expected on the big day, presents would also arrive when the Three Kings finished making their journey to the big star. Funnily enough, I didn't pay attention to the religious backstory for this so much (I didn't even realize religion was a thing until much later in life, somehow) as I focused on the fact that I could get away with two days of expecting presents. It also made sense to me as a child because then whatever I didn't get on the big day, I could perhaps angle for when the Three Kings arrived. That and I got to have this awesome Rosca de Reys bread). I extend this excuse for extra gift-giving to you!!
But seriously, if you haven't tried this bread yet, you should find a local panaderia and order one when January hits. It's so heckin' delicious. AND it comes with its own baked in mini-game that results in someone making tamales so it's a win-win.
So now I am hoping that they will show up in time for the New Year! Let's all hope together, and Thank you all for your Patience!!

WE'RE OFFICIALLY IN PRODUCTION.
I'm happy to announce that we are OFFICIALLY IN PRODUCTION. Enamel Pins have been finalized, Backing Cards have been designed and ordered, Stickers have been ordered, so I'm feeling hopeful and excited!! WE'RE DOING IT. Now, we're in the stage of production where all the irons are in the fire, and I'm simply staring at the glow and waiting for emails or waiting for product to arrive.
SO
In light of this extra time I find myself enjoying, I'm going to begin developing and designing our next Kickstarter project!! OWO
✨HEAVENSWARD ENAMEL PINS✨
I'm still working on coming up with a clever title for this next series that isn't: Dragon Marriage is Now Legal. Wards of Heaven/Ishgard might be a bit too on the nose, but it's what I have so far until I find something different!! OwO/
I also have like........25 pins lined up so far. So this will be a huge project, but ding dang it, I want to represent more characters than just the popular and the expected!! There are so many more characters that people love and adore that are never produced, so for all of you who want to enjoy the smaller characters and find yourself in a desert of merch, FRET NOT. I'm going to do my best!!

Hello, my Warriors of Light!!
For the past two weeks while waiting for the Kickstarter funds to come through, I've been playing ping pong with my manufacturer on the designs, making edits and subtle revisions to ensure that all the enamel pins come out with fantastic results!! We're just about to enter the production phase for the molds themselves, so after one more round of edits and making sure the colors are all correct, we will be in official production mode!! GASP! It's all happening so fast! Also, here are so more fun and fascinating things that are happening.

Some of you have expressed to me that you would like to add more pins to your order as well as upgrade your pledge. Through KS, this has been a little hard to employ and keep track of everything, but I've found a solution!! I now have a BackerKit page set up for all of you to enjoy as well as new Add-Ons that you can include in your order!!
- 2" Vinyl Stickers of every individual Scholar & Scion!
- 6"x4" Vinyl Sticker Sheet with every Scholar & Scion included!
Here is an example of the Vinyl Sticker Sheet that has been added!
Don't forget to check your Junk Mail just in case the BackerKit Survey ends up in there. I'll be shutting down changes to orders at the end of November, so make sure to get in there and get your survey filled out so I know how much of each pin and sticker to order.
What's going on now?
Currently, I'm working on designing and investigating backing card options!! I would like your opinion, so if you would be so kind, please leave a response to this update with your answer!
What Direction should we take for the Designs of the Backing Cards?

Keep them Simple! One Design for each project. For Example: Same Design to be used in future projects, Scholars & Scions will share the same backing card with the future Heavensward project.
- (What does this mean? One Design means we can just keep printing the one design for Backing Cards for this and any future projects)

Keep them Consistent! A shared feature between each project ties the backing cards together, but ultimately, you can tell Scholars & Scions KS Project apart from Heavensward project thanks to a different style.
- (What does this mean? Multiple Designs means that we will have a Backing Card stretch goal for each project because it will mean more work. This may also mean that future enamel pins might not have backing cards if we cannot reach that fundraising goal.)
